A VERY BRIEF GUIDE TO TACTICS :
-------------------------------
1. Getting the formation.
At the start of the mission, 3 friendly craft are patrolling the
area over the port (N/W) At very high altitude in crocodile formation.
A close flyby the leader will signal a request to join the attackforce,
and the formation will join. It is good defensive practice to allow the
formation to settle before moving into dangerous areas.
2. When in difficulty - send in the troops.
Pressing 'A' will send your formation (Providing you have one) in to
battle with the nearest airborne targets. They attack on a one to one
basis (ie. 2 enemy craft nearby, 2 will break formation), the rest
stay with you as defence. Pressing 'A' again, will send in more.
3. Knowing when to retreat -
If things get too rough, 'R' will regroup your formation. However,
be careful not to force your wingmen into retreat if it puts them in
a vunerable position as they leave the battle scene. If fired upon, they
will return.
4. If the attack is a success -
When an enemy target is destroyed, friendly craft will either select new
targets, or rejoin a defensive formation.
